Democracy Day 2022

As we celebrate democracy day in Nigeria, it is our collective responsibility to ensure that our democracy is not hijacked.

Democracy is a game of numbers and we have the numbers. Young people must rise up to the task and determine the direction of our country in the coming general elections.

We must also build from ground up. We must get involved at the grassroots. We must get into the system and engage with it. We must join political parties because they hold so much political power.

The race is on and the journey has begun.

Get your PVC. (Get your International Passport too). But that’s not enough. Determine to vote. Show up and vote. Be interested in politics and governance because they’re interested in you.

I have a role to play. You have a role to play to build our country.
