How to manage time spent on our device

Technology has done us great good, it has also left us with its nuisance.

How? Addiction. Some people are addicted to their phones just as someone is addicted to alcohol.

The thing is our device comes with inbuilt control systems, inbuilt control mechanisms, such that you can easily put a check to the time you give your device. Alcohol doesn’t come with such inbuilt control mechanisms.

The challenge most of the time is that people have not imbibed the culture of taking advantage of these inbuilt control mechanisms on our devices.

I’ll give you a quick list of some.

1. Airplane mode

2. Do not disturb

3. Silent mode

4. Turning off notifications

5. Allocating set time to various applications on your phone.

6. Add yours..

These are simple powerful tools that we take for granted. They have the ability to restore our focus and sanity in the use of our gadgets.
